# Blockchain Protocol Risk

Since ANGF tokens and the AngelForge platform are based on blockchain protocol, any malfunctions, breakdowns, or failures of the protocol could significantly negatively impact the platform and ANGF tokens. Additionally, technological advancements in fields such as cryptography and quantum computing may pose risks to ANGF tokens and the AngelForge platform, potentially rendering the consensus mechanism underlying the blockchain protocol ineffective.
