# Smart Contract

The AngelForge smart contract is a protocol designed to enforce common contractual conditions (payment terms, confidentiality, enforcement), eliminating intentional and accidental losses, and minimizing the need for trusted intermediaries. The goal of the smart contract is to reduce losses from fraud, costs of subsequent legal disputes, and transaction costs.
